The Taff Trail

Quakers Yard

Start: A472 Underpass
End: A470 Underpass (south end of Aberfan)
Distance: 3.78 miles (approx)

The sweeping 270° course of the Quakers Taff Trail section takes you over the river twice, once on the way in and again on the way out.

We highly recommend stopping off at the Fir Tree Centre for a very reasonably-priced cuppa and bite to eat.

The vast majority of this section is under tree cover with some great views to the south and west from the bridges.

A further river crossing at the north end of this section takes you on to the long straight up to Aberfan.
