The Taff Trail

Cilfynydd

Start: North end of Coedpenmaen Road
End: B4275 Bridge across the A470
Distance: 2.54 miles (approx)

Cilfynydd is the penultimate area of Rhondda Cynon Taf when travelling north from Cardiff. The lower half of this section is alongside the river before a short detour around the industrial park takes you a little distance from it.

Once again, you'll cross the A470 by means of a bridge although care should be taken here as it is for vehicular access as well as pedestrians and cylcists.

The long A4054 stretch of road will take you north to Abercynon, the final and most northerly section of the Taff Trail in the county of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
