The Taff Trail

Abercynon

Start: B4275 Bridge across the A470
End: A472 Underpass
Distance: 0.98 miles (approx)

The most northerly stretch of the Rhondda Cynon Taf section of the Taff Trail, Abercynon, takes you back on to lovely riverside track up to Quakers Yard and the county of Merthyr.

Crossing the A470 is simple this time with a dedicated underpass. You also travel under the A472 by similar means.

It's worth stopping to take in the sights of the weir and rock piles on Tram Road Side just to the north of the A472.
