Travelling from the south you'll first go under the A470 eastwards before double-backing on yourself and returning to the northerly bearing with a sharp left turn.

This section of the trail runs parallel with Pleasant View, Yr Hen Laethdy and Bryntaf before meeting up with the cemetery and joining the tree-lined track again a little way to the north towards Troed-y-Rhiw.
